The defence industry has become one of the engines of Ukraine’s economy: the production of drones, electronic-warfare systems and munitions has grown many times over, and around it a whole ecosystem of private manufacturers and technology start-ups has taken shape. This sector is among the most complex to regulate, where export control, the dual-use regime, the state defence order and the requirements of secrecy intersect.
We support participants in the defence and adjacent markets in matters of export control and the circulation of dual-use goods, participation in the state defence order, licensing and sector compliance. The structure of transactions, contracts with state customers and foreign partners, and the protection of intellectual property in technology we build with regard to the sanctions regime and to requirements that shift with the course of the war.
